I’ve installed the multilanguage functionnality with no real problems. But when I choose any language, beside english, the page doesn’t reload on the home page but instead on the news blog and I have to click on the logo to go to the Home page. If I go back to english no problems it load the home page.

Also, (It may be related) the “Latest” section doesn’t show any articles when an other language is selected. I’ve checked the menus and think it should. It’s the right category and sub-categories option is on.

Any idea ?

Hi

You should create new menus for each language you installed , then set for each menu a home menu item with assigned as default language the language you want to use for that menu .

Create a new template style for each language installed and assign as menu type for the template the mainmenu of the language that you have previously created and set it as default template for the language installed and assigned to the mainmenu

Your website is working more than perfect 🙂
when you switch language it reloads same page in language selected , only clicking on main menu or logo it redirect to the correct language home page .

So my question is :

How you want it to behaves indeed ?

Hi

Yes, I noticed it last night before going to bed. I was like: Why is it working right now and not 4h ago ?. Browser cache I guess or something like that 🙂

Anyway thanks you, your previous post helped me with the menu and “latest” section 😀
