    Hi lcgsite,

    Have you tried with other template such as Bee5? Please try this and let me know what’s going on cause I tried to install another language package and see it works, I mean I can assign a copy of menu item in English to this new language.

    Regards.

    Hi Lcgsite
    Falang components still is not stable version so please make sure that it will work on all case. I think that you should use multiple language of joomla 2.5.x functions.

    Hi Lcgsite
    Please try again, i tried to create a new menu and did not encounter any problem. I think you missed something or added title which already exists.

    I’ve created 3 menu, menu Item’s and module for my 3 languages (English, Russian and German) assigned to each languages and make 1 menu item for each languages as default for a specific language, and I had a menu for all assigned to all, language filter plugin is enabled and I’ve enabled a language switcher module, additionally I’ve copied template and assigned for specific languages, right like the multilingual joomla site manual, everything is OK but menu don’t work properly and menu Items for each language doesn’t appear by clicking the flag. :((
    May I ask you please check my site and help me to make it multilingual, If it couldn’t be solve and the problem is cuse of the template please give me another solution (introduce a Component) for solving my problem.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi, Nalwan
    Firstly, you should check multiple languages on template default of joomla, then you must re-check menu setting why it does not work? Please let me know and pm me admin account, ftp info , then i’ll have a look and help you out.

    Don’t want to step on anyone’s toes here especially HeRo but I think this is because you have the logo link over the top of the three language flags. So it’s always going to revert to the default php.

    You can move the language switcher using css so that it becomes clickable

    just an idea for you – look at /media/mod_languages/css/template.css at first line

    div.mod-languages ul {
    margin: 0;
    padding: 0;
    list-style:none; }

    and change to

    div.mod-languages ul {padding: 0;
    list-style: none;
    float: right;
    margin-right: 65px;
    margin-top: 25px;
    }

    If you don’t like it you can change it back but this will put the language switcher over to the right and below the menü. I tried it for responsive and it seemed to work but not tested on other pages or devices. Anyway just an idea for you!

    Good luck!
