September 11, 2008 at 10:49 pm #133249Hi, is there a way to select more than 1 categorie for one article. for instance, if I have an xbox 360 and ps3 category and the news is for a game that is being developed on both consoles, i would like to select both categories so when doing a manual search or browsing itcan be found under both. Perhaps a tags system would work better. Any ideas?

September 15, 2008 at 11:12 pm #270706This is a feature requested by many Joomla users.
Here’s a non-commercial plugin:
Other than that you’d have to buy a third party software like:

:((

Wow. I thought that by now there could be a hack solution for it, rather than, you know have to create a “multi” category. to have all the aticles I need.
I had problems with the first free plugin you gave me. I installed it but joomla gets a 404 when trying to access it in the admin area :S

September 16, 2008 at 3:20 pm #270854I cheat with this one. Create article in Category 1, then simply ‘copy’ article to Category 2!
It arrives in both, no problem!
Works for me 😀

September 16, 2008 at 8:46 pm #270887well, I thought of that but, how to overcome the problem of the article displaying twice on “latest topics” and other related modules.

September 17, 2008 at 5:07 am #270961Once I copy the article, I modify the heading a little bit!
For instance:
Halo Triple Pack for Xbox 360
PS3 gets Halo Triple PackNot perfect, but as I said, works for me!!
March 14, 2011 at 4:57 pm #381293I just found a solution to this. It worked great for me.
