I like the way JA news separates categories and features items from each category. I duplicated or copied janews module and created a static page Art which I applied JA news too. As you can see the layout is not working correctly.
e.g.
homepage-
http://www.wearelibertine.com/demo/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1
Another section-
http://www.wearelibertine.com/demo/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=42&Itemid=62
I want to have the ability to put static content or custom html/images above janews component on these other pages that is why I used a static page. I have placed the janews component in duplicate and it seems to break when in 2 column format with headline = hide. When I put it in 1 column format it displays fine.
Whats the best way to get this working in two column format?
Hi, Sorry to jump in on your pain. I don’t have the answer to your question, in fact I’m trying to do much the same as you and I wondered how you have copied janews so that you can have mutiple versions running for different category items.
