I have add a second location to the JA Map Plugin but the default New York is the only location that is being shown. Can you please provide some direction for getting multiple locations on the same map and how to remove or edit the default New York location?

Hi Follow the documentation given here for JA Google map plugin.
You need to add the Your Google map API key and locations in Gmap plugin as per instruction given in doc here
Do not forget to select Location checkbox in JA Google map plugin before copy the code .
