Joomla (JA Portfolio 2.5) was installed using site url: http://legalgrind.powweb.com/joomla/

We kept legalgrind nameservers pointing to another server hosting our current site, while we built our new one. We are now ready to change the nameservers to this new Joomla site on a powweb server. Our new url will be legalgrind.com and should go directly to legalgrind.com/joomla.

Two questions:

Do I have to make any changes in the joomla ja portfolio software to keep it working? There will be no change in the location on powweb servers, the host.

Second, I can use a forward through the registrar to make legalgrind.com go directly to legalgrind.com/joomla, but is there a better way?

Let me know if you want login info for powweb hosting ops, which will give you much information including paths, versions, et al.

Hi legalgrind,

I don’t think there will be a problem with this, Just change the name servers pointing to the new host and it should work, you can contact your hosting manager to get advices on this matter as well.
