November 26, 2012 at 9:44 pm #182605Hello Joomlart
I had a lot of problems with configuring multisite in my joomla 2.5.8 site. I configured all settings and checked them 3 times and multilanguage was still not working. Then I changed the template and multilanguage was working.
The problem is in the template (Mendozite). What should I change to make this work?
Manuel

November 26, 2012 at 9:47 pm #474286It sounds like there may be a possible code/bug issue with either the template itself (possibly during a recent update) or, perhaps, with a particular setting within your specific template/site configuration. Either way, I have submitted a Help Desk ticket for you toward having one of our JA Devs look further into this for you.

November 27, 2012 at 6:58 am #474351Hi Manuelp,
Did you create each template for each language like following:
– create template for a specify language: go to back-end >> Extension >> template manager >> Templates >> Click on JA Mendozite >> Copy one template for each language.
– Next: Styles tab. With each style, you assign 1 language, then back to Profiles tab, assign Menu Type to it.

If your site still doesn’t work, please PM me your site info ( Admin account and FTP account)1 user says Thank You to Luna Garden for this useful post

December 21, 2012 at 4:45 am #477034Hello Alami,
You can follow this guide to build a multilingual website: http://www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/joomla-multi-lingual/
I have checked your back-end, and I see that you haven’t created menu default for each languages. I have set one menu item to default for English, now you have to create one Menu, and set default for Italian.

http://www.kocaersozlegal.com</blockquote>Hello Serdemwigi,
For security reason, please do NOT post your site admin info in public, you can PM me instead.
But the info you gave me, it’s not correct, I can’t access to your back-end.
In front-end, I can see that your Main menu does appear, and for each Language. Please describe more details about your problem so that I can help.
May 28, 2013 at 1:50 pm #494197I’d like to point you to the issue that is raised here about the megamenu not responding correctly. I’ve set it up the way you told me to but I’ve been having some issues in the back end and front end anyway.
You could check this image but it’s posted on the following link too.
Thanks, Liz
