June 18, 2008 at 7:14 am #254339Hi Mengfei
Nice looking site, well done! 🙂
Some of the larger images seemed quite slow to load, but that could be the connection my end, not yours!

Actually I notice the loading speed as well. I am asking my hosting provider to enable the GZIP but until now they still not doing that for me… Grr.r……

June 18, 2008 at 9:55 am #254377Nice clean site you have and it looks informative. I would optimise the images though because that would speed the load time by a small amount. One thing I didn’t like too much was the dotted border around some of the images, for me personally it sort of broke up the clean look of the site. Thats just a personal opinion though – well done 🙂

June 18, 2008 at 10:07 am #254382Site is looking good, nice, clear and easy to read/browse.
It is indeed a bit slow but you mentioned that before. I think you should pay some attention to the image describtions as most just show the image name itself. Or disable the describtions totally.

June 19, 2008 at 7:21 am #254574Thanks nigelta and bennitos for comment.
The dotted border is somehow requested by one of my management’s people and others are agreed with that. So cant help much on that. :p
About the loading issue, I tried to use GZIP to improve the performance but ends up with a blank page. Now I am still looking for solution on this. Please read this thread

Well, I believe this is because when the first time I subscribe with JA, I used to download all template into my hard drive, then I test every template one by one… But how it goes to that amount I really dont know. Also, I used flashget to download it…

June 19, 2008 at 7:58 am #254587If you use Flashget, and dont finish the download it automatic starts when you restart it, so i guess thats why.
Either that or you just had boring day and just wanted to fill up a hard drive with templates:pmengfei Friendmengfei

June 19, 2008 at 8:04 am #254589Hahaha, nobody wanted to do that for nothing.
What I actually did is setup all JA template in my laptop’s web sever. So that whenever I go to do demo to potential client, I can easyly show them all available design. In case no internet access on that time.
PS: I am promoting JA templates anyway. :p

June 19, 2008 at 8:11 am #254593About the slow loading time of your site, i have noticed that some of the JA templates, even if they are lightweight they use super looooooooooong time on several sites/servers.
JA-Corona, JA-Barite, JA-Teline2 is some of them. -
