Hi all
I’m new to joomla platform and bought ja teline iv template and it’s great :laugh:

but I want to add some functions to this template so I started to write my own component which will display – for now- all records from users table, it works as it should on a fresh and clean install of joomla but when I installed on ja teline iv theme it shows nothing although the header and footer of the theme are shown ??

anyone knows where is the problem? do I have to do somthing to make my component compatible with ja teline iv theme ??

hi mhm21,

The problem does not come from your component instead it came from the template setting, if you go to the template back-end, at the Language & Page Assignments section maybe you would see that your default menu item is assigned to the Home profile and in the setting of Home profile the Hide Main content block is set to Yes, I guess that’s the problem.
To get rid of this problem you can set Hide Main content block to No or you just create a new menu item that referring to your component ( now the default menu is referring to it when you got to this component directly).
