July 18, 2008 at 2:26 pm #260748You have phpmyadmin? If so its easy
Login to phpMyAdmin
1.select the database.
2.In the main window you see all tables. Check the boxes next to the tables you need to repair.
3.At the bottom of the window right below the end of the tables there is a drop down menu. Choose “Repair Table”
This should hopefully fix it, if it does, remember to do a BACKUP….anisjolly Friendanisjolly

July 18, 2008 at 2:32 pm #260749Hi ana
Login to your site’s hostname. it should be something like mysql.thenameofyoursqlhostname
If you do not know how to do this, log into PHPMyAdmin and find the database and the table you’re having problems with.
once you can see the table structure, there will be a menu option called ‘Operations’ (in fact there will be 2 – one at the top and the bottom).
click on Operations and there should be a link on the page called ‘Repair Table’.
That should do the trick for you.
However, before you do this, please backup you database (even if one of the table’s is not working), just in case anything goes wrong with the repair.
Hope this helps.

July 19, 2008 at 4:45 pm #260861Ana I also need to know if the crash has come after you installed any component/modules/plugin. If you did not install/modify nothing if you want you can send me by pv a text copy of your db so I can test this night.

July 19, 2008 at 4:50 pm #260862Mcseller-
The last thing I did was updating the Teline II template with the new version (1.4). After that, everything was OK. When I checked the site the next morning I got the message that the “jos_session” chrased. I have two db back ups. One is about three weeks old and one from today (even with the error). Can I send you the two files?
