Hello.

This is my first template from JA.

Well and i’m quite confudes about the work.

I post here my impression and some wurstion.

Where to hell is the in the template manager the html and css files. Must i really over the http://ftp….that not very user friendly.( i feel me a little bit like by vista , wher i must three tinme agree to delete something)

JA slideshow:
Why we have two modules and only the K2 have a finction.?
Where I can seperat to the normal headlines define the text in the slideshow?
In which way i can can disable the description? they dont react
My goal is to disable the description and have a link to the main article!
So , is the readmore link the only solution for jumping to the main article?

Why is jomsocial integrated? Jomsocial is for free , only the updated are for pay….so where is the component?

How i can add subtitles to the menu ( enlarge the height and wrote in two lines) and threw away the png (heart , new, house)

Where i can change the main LOGO JA social?
there are the first question after two days of fighting…many more will follow

I can understand if you first time joomlart template user – to be a bit overhelmed. I was here first time too because they doing very complex templates. So my advice is to read posts and do search. Then post question about particular issue and hope someone take time to find answer for you. There are many tutorials and videos so go through them first. Sometimes I got lucky and they answered basic questions and I was grateuful for that. We all learn and these themplates are really good. Forum I assume was design for bugs or some problems but users always find time to answer questions and that is why I love this site.

Anyhow remember to thank users for taking time to answer your question if they do help you. REad tutorials first ! they are on the top of the forum – posts for specific template. Some of your questions you asked will be answered there like how to change your logo.

If you read it you would find answers. You replace your existing logo – it is in your image folder in template with your logo. If you need to change dimensions there are in template.css

I hope that helps to start using joomla art forum. It is great source of information I learn a lot and most of the users are very helpful.
