another problem:
whenever a gallery is created by the frontend administration of rsgallery2, it doesnt appear in the my galleries list, which means, it can not be un/published, edited….
the gallery itself seems to be created, but only if it is a subgallery:
creating galleries in the root of the gallery structure does not work also.(joomla 1.0.14RC1)
please advise.
thanks

Post your URL so I can see what you mean by FrontEnd Administration of RSGallery2.

i can desribe it in more detail:
* in RSgallery, you can enable user uploads.
* in the front end, if enabled, this would be the link to the frontend administration page
http://www.domain.tld/index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&page=my_galleries&Itemid=28 (item id comes from menueentry, i created)
* there a user, if logged in, can upload images, create galleries, ..this feature is enabled in rsgallery backend -> config -> tab: users
cheers

February 12, 2008 at 2:19 am #238911Your link doesn’t work. You might want to check RSGallery 2 forum at http://rsgallery2.net/index.php?opti…_smf&Itemid=17. This would not be a JoomlArt template problem.

hi,
sure my link doesnt work: http://www.domain.tld (=topleveldomain) is an example link.
i cant give you direct access, as it would also mean i would post an admin account pwd + username, a thing, i cant simply do.for testing:
* enable at rsgallery backend -> config -> tab: users the useraccess controls, so users can upload images in front end. then go to: index.php?option=com_rsgallery2&page=my_galleries
this is the frontend administration page. simply an extra page for users to upload their content und .. normally… create galleries, etc..as said: the template (as far as i can judge) wont make a problem, its the modified RS gallery component which comes with the template.
February 13, 2008 at 6:47 pm #239104It is a joomlart bug!!!!!!
When you change your template to another one, so instead of ja semantic into normall semantic, the user creating is vissible and working.
I allready posted this question a few times, but after you pay for joomlart template, they don’t take much time to fix or even answer your mail!!!
February 14, 2008 at 6:38 pm #239176The User Gallery issue is well known problem – but no fix has been posted.
See thread:
http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-avian-ja-avian-ii-user-guide-and-bug-report/
Here’s the problem…
When a user makes a new gallery it does not show at “My galleries” page. In the database you can see the gallery is made but when I look in PHP my admin the table of the new gallery shows up with “parent -1”. Thats why i don’t see the new gallery, Who knows how to fix this?
LOTS of postings on this issue, but no solutions from JoomlArt Team…
February 16, 2008 at 3:26 pm #239294still no answer? is someone at joomlaart.com working on it? we need support!!

http://www.ninc.atFebruary 16, 2008 at 8:38 pm #239312I am also still waiting for an answer. I really think Joomlart could at least give notice that they have read this post. I am waiting for weeks allready, without even 1 single answer. So much for the service………….

Hi Kaeau.
Open config.rs_rsgallery2.php (administrator/com_rsgallery2/config.rs_gallery2.php) and search this line :$mitems[] = mosHTML::makeOption( '-1', _RSGALLERY_SELECT_GAL );
and change to$mitems[] = mosHTML::makeOption( '0', _RSGALLERY_SELECT_GAL );
I tried with my site on localhost, and everything is okie
March 10, 2008 at 6:58 am #241786I tried this option and didn’t worked.
I can’t believe after getting so much attention on Joomla 1.5 template competition also the support remains same and still no answer for this. I am having this same issue.
I suggested 5 people to joomlart. Now I am thinking of giving referals.

http://www.joomlart.com/forums/forum/customer-testimonials/
