I switched from Joomla Menu to Mega Menu in the navigation tab of the template manager because I wanted to add labels to the menu icons to make it easier for visitors to figure out on which icon to click and to change the icons.

I also wanted to change the icons to icons more relevant to what the menu option was about.

As a result, my menu icon disappeared. Neither the CSS style icon nor the Mega Menu Font Awesome icon got displayed.

Now visitors need to move their mouse on an invisible menu to get to see the menu options. Not very user friendly.

How can I fixe this mess?

I put all the CSS style icons back, in the Joomla Menu definition, after switching back to Joomla menue from Mega menue, but I have no list of the available icons (the Font Awesome page linked to in the manual doesnt’ list the icons used in the sample data and demo!) and I still don’t have a label for the icons because I had to switch back from Mega menu.
