I uploaded some photos to my FTP but they certainly do not appear when selecting the editor in the administration of the web.

    Can you tell me why?

My new photos uploaded to the ftp do not appear.

Nor is a folder created by me in the FTP in the “images”

    Thanks

Sorry, but I think you’ve done something and has gone the JCE editor you installed.
    Can you fix it?
    thanks

    Hi,
I haven’t done anything to your website i just tried to see if you have those folders, it looks although that there’s a problem with your host or they have a hd issue as i am getting this error:

    • JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/publitotal/www/administrator/components/com_jce/
    • JFolder: :files: Path is not a folder. Path: /home/publitotal/www/components/com_jce/

I am going to reinstall JCE to try to solve your problem, but that’s definitely not something that i have done 🙂

    Hi,
It looks like you are facing some server issues and Joomla is not running smoothly as Installation of any new module is not working!
Please contact your server admin and provide them with the error code : JFolder::create: Could not create directory
There’s a permission issue with your account! and your ftp credentials don’t work (at least those you provided to this thread).

Please let me know if there’s anything else i can help you with.

    Regards

Edit: also you can inform your system admin about this problem :
The PHP temporary directory is the directory that PHP uses to store an uploaded file before Joomla! can access this file. Whilst the directory not being set isn’t always a problem, if you are having issues with manifest files not being detected or uploaded files not being detected, setting this in your php.ini file might fix the issue.

    Dear pascm,

I’ve had to delete my web server and start from scratch because of the problem he had with the JCE Editor.

You had to delete your web server ? That’s crazy unless you mean something else!
Did you check if you had any Hard Disk problems, because as i said i didn’t change anything to your website i only loged in to check your settings.

You have to understand that we don’t change anything on any website without been able to get a backup, in your web site i wasn’t able to get a backup so i didn’t touch anything, i just tried to see if i could see the files you mentioned!

I am really sorry to hear you had to delete your web server even though it doesn’t make any sense to me the reason that made you delete your webserver unless there’s something else you wanted to say.
