November 19, 2012 at 1:52 am #182375Dear JA Team,
why my site does not redirect/go to search page when i try to use the search function.?
it just view at the bottom of the frontpage, not the specific search page.. you can try by yourself to get the clear for what i mean..
test site: http://www.mychekwan.com/project/smartreg01/index.php
joomla: 2.5
template: JA Portfoliomain content at the frontpage: DISABLED (At Home only)
others page: default profile setting (using the template parameter)HeR0 FriendHeR0

November 19, 2012 at 3:50 am #473355Hi Wan fadli,
Please look at thread http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-side-news-more-info-links-broken/ and point invisible menu (search menu in Invisible group menu ) to Search component. It should resolve your issue, if not, ping me back!

Hi HeR0,
I’ve tried the solution given.. but not working.. :((
i followed the steps:
– Create menu group “Invisible”
– Create new menu with the name “Search”
– Assigned the menu to the “Search Form or Search Results” component
– The refresh the page, tries to enter the word in search box
– same problem appearedHeR0 FriendHeR0

November 21, 2012 at 4:25 am #473726Hi Wan Fadli,
Because the search components are unable to detect the menu. So I’ve added the Itemid ( menu id ) of Search menu into the module and your issue has been resolved. Pls look at those 2 scrennshots for more info http://prntscr.com/k7vul , http://prntscr.com/k7w02
