Hello, I’m installing Menthys template, and is occurring a MYSQL syntax error.
I contacted my server and they informed me that the problem was the installation files.
The following message from the server:
“As reported error message, the component you want to install this using an outdated syntax to create tables in MySQL

As MySQL 5.5 manual, the term “TYPE = MyISAM” was discontinued and replaced with “ENGINE = MyISAM” in version 5.5. This substitution was made by the developers of MySQL based on performance and security of stored data. You can check the MySQL manual:

I would like to know how to fix it or when files are changed.

Hi
May i know which JA Methys pack you have used for install and which Joomla! version you are using ?
Template install should not much use mySQL query.
Btw please give me your information as above than i can try to help you.
ps:// if possible please update me w/ your site access & ftp than i can help you to install.
