I’m new to loomla and this is only my 3rd site and I’m having an issue with the main content module. I deleted all the Articles, Categories, Featured Articles, a bunch of the modules and menu items to start with a clean site. I still have the “main-content” module appearing on the site as a empty box. It had a heading that I disabled under the home page title.

When you log into the site using the front end as an editor. You can log in here…http://www.ajequipmentrepair.com/joomla/index.php/contact-us Username: Tim Password: 83cutlas and go to the home page, two mysterious articles show up in that area. Those articles were deleted from the “Articles” and I have no idea why they are showing up.

Also when I go to the websites module display…http://www.ajequipmentrepair.com/joomla/?tp=1 There are modules listed that are not within the template. Also there are no modules assigned to anything in this area.

I am completely lost on this one! Any suggestions?

I’m also getting a double line at the footer, thinking the same kind of thing is happening down there.

    Hello kevintps,

Please show me what your mysterious articles are? I logged in from front-end but could not see them.

For your 2nd question, when you go http://www.ajequipmentrepair.com/joomla/?tp=1 link, it’ll show all module positions which are available in template. You can select which module is placed to the position. If there is no module in a position, it won’t be shown on site when your visitor go http://www.ajequipmentrepair.com/joomla/

    Regards.

If you just look at the site from the web, http://www.ajequipmentrepair.com/joomla/ you’ll see a blank module under the featured product of the month. How do I get rid of it?

    Hello kevintps,

Please go to JA_Portfolio settings in Template Manager, then go to “Profiles” tab, clone “Default” profile to “Default-home”. After that, assign new profile to “Home” menu.

I did it for you and it worked well. Please check and confirm the same.

    Regards.
