Hello,
Having spent days trying to fix these issues, and failed poorly to come up with a solution, I trully need your help here concerning Bootstrap nav tabs and buttons that disappear when you click on them at the frontend:
-
In fact, it occurs with any component/extension/module that uses bootstrp nav tabs, buttons, and dropdown boxes; whenever you click on them, they just disappear one after another (please see screenshots). Chrome dev tools didn’t show any jquery issue.
-
Furthermore, child menu Items panel/dropbox at ("mainnav" position) also disappears when you right-click on any child menu item, and then click anywhere else on the site (except Firefox for registered users, occasionally!?). It also affects some dropdown lists on the site.
- Finally, when I make any change with a menu item (e.g. name, type, language, alias, etc.), it totally breaks down the template style. When that occurred, the only way to get the template style back is to save the template style page that was opened in another browser’s tab before I made those changes.
I had hoped that upgrading to Joomla 3.5.1 (from 3.4.x) would fixed it, but it hadn’t.
I’d trully appreciate if you guys could provide some hints to fix this.
Thank you.Regards,
DKN-

May 5, 2016 at 7:43 am #926988Hi
Could you send me the link / navigation to the page where I can see the issue? as I can’t find it.
I also see the JS error in inspect element, it comes from Cometchat plugin, you can try to disable it first.
