Hi there,

I thought I was being a good girl by uninstalling my unused components, plugins, and modules. Unfortunately I received this error message:

JLIB_APPLICATION_ERROR_COMPONENT_NOT_LOADING

Can anyone shed some light on how to fix this issue?

Hi,

Can you please provide some more info according to the software you uninstalled ? This issue happens usually when you uninstall a software but you don’t remove the use of it. (for instance you have the plugins installed).

Hi Pascm,

I was attempting to uninstall the components/plugins/modules from Kunena and K2 since I don’t need or use those on my site, and I just totally messed it up.

Please uninstall the corresponded plugins also, it’s a known issue with many applications, but i think that K2 uninstalls everything so try to uninstall what’s left and your problem will be solved.

Thank you Pascm for bailing me out. I was in the middle of fixing something else and I should have the good sense to stop and not compound the problem. I’ve very happy that the error message is gone.
