    Hi Joel,

Can you post a URL of your website? Also, have you already edited your template’s index file to use the dropline menu? Is your problem that you don’t know how to make the changes or that you already made the changes but it still doesn’t work?

    my url is http://www.gravitazion.com/index.php,

I have menu with 8 links to sections, every section has 5 category , i will be using dropline menu and i allready change change the html

I read the manual, created some sections , created some categories, created my top menu — but now, the big question is,,, how do i link sections and category to my menu,

Do i have to create a menu for every section? and than link the menu item to that particular section menu or i’m i of point here?

No no, you do not create a menu for every section. There are 2 ways to do this.

    – I suggest that you go to your section or category and then on the right side, click on the TAB called Link to Menu. Choose what menu you want to link it to and enter the name for it.

    – the other way is to use the menu section. At the top bar, click on Menu > go down to the menu name (DONT click on menu manager). From here you can add new menus and such.

    That should do it.

the links to the sections on the menu are working just fine, what i’m having a problem with is the categorys, for example on the mouse over for my news section i like to see two categorys on the drop down ,, yet i can’t get no categorys on the dropdown under the menu!,

How can i get the categorys to appear on the dropdowns? do i need to create amenu item for each category also?

Yes if you want the categories to appear on the front page you do. Or you make a category a menu child with a section as its parent. Then the category will pop-up when you hover on the section menu item.

Yes, create a “menu item” for each category, and then in the options panel for each menu item you can select what “top level menu item” you want it under.
So with the news example, create the toplevel menuitem “news” as normal. Then you create another menu item, link it to the category of choice, and select “news” as it’s parent. And repeat with all your sections/categories 🙂
