First, the documentation out there claims that the JA ACM is only for the UBER template and you still use it for JA Healthcare, secondly, the majority of what is being described in the "documentation" is incorrect and/or not available in JA Healthcare. Why is this not part of the Extension package?

The "testimonials" don’t work as described and look like crap. It lost ALL data without any user interaction and when trying to edit it, I had to start from scratch for the slideshow (the frontend still showed all correctly). Any chance for some more quality control and work on valid documentation??

Different template use different template styles and JA ACM style files are designed with respect to template style. JA uber wss first template that introduce the acm styles that gives options how u can use them in others templates.
For JA healthcare can u give me the details if issue with a screenshot and URL.
