Hi,

I am wondering if the default registration can do the below:

– User register, he/she receive an email about 3 working days to approve
– admin login to backend and decide if the admin want to approve or not approve, sending email saying approve or sending email telling the reason not approve
– user receive email if he/she got approve or receive email the reason not approve

If the joomla default registration component can’t do that, any component can do that?

Hi kent,

Did you check the extensions listed here >> http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/communities-a-groupware/user-management

You might even try Community Builder. I used it for my college Intranet. It worked great for me. We needed to identify and approve the users manually, so we used to ask them to register and then manullay approve the users.

Regarding your mails, i think you just need to tweak the email tempaltes in community builder for the same.

Give it a shot.
