I’m new to Joomla and I’ve been researching for days trying to find an answer to this. I’m using the ja_pollux theme and can’t figure out how to get a full wrapper. I have a left column no matter what. So anyone that can provide clear help on that, I’d appreciate it. I’ve got a default Joomla! installation, and the demo has a full wrapper, but not my site.

Also, do I have to pick between a full wrapper and left column wrapper site-wide, or can some pages have one and some have the other. I can’t get this to change, so any help would be appreciated. (And yes, I’ve read the documentation)

Finally, is there a way to show dynamic content in the wrapper – like if I’m wrapping my vBulletin installation, can I have links from my front page that link directly to threads in vBulletin based on some variable I pass in the URL?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Firstly, you create a wrapper. To make the wrapper is fullwidth, please don’t publish any modules into that page. The left and right column will automatically disappear.

How do I create a wrapper? The wrapper component is already installed? I’m lost.

Add a menu item, select the wrapper type for it.

OK I got the wrapper width figured out. Does anyone know how to do a dynamic wrapper that displays content based on a URL passed by querystring?
