Hey, we bought the JA_smashboard template some time ago and would like to place ads on our website. Could you guys give me a small tutorial how and where to place ads on this template?

When I tried to place ads in the layout options of the template the ads won’t show on the positions on the website at all.

Are there any extensions that work very well with the smashboard template to display ads?

Hi,

I’m not sure what are you expecting in this case? If possible, you can send me the screenshot and description on that, it will help to understand where do you want to ads on your site?

Hi, sorry I am no native english speaker and maybe didn’t explain it that well. Basically we are looking for the position in the layout that is over the articles in every menu.

Also I would like to know how it is possible to display ads in every article.

And for the responsive version I would like to display ads in between every x articles. http://imgur.com/Jx7KMOZ Again somewhere in the red marked area, which is between to articles in the mobile version.

Hope that explains what I would like to do.

I checked on JA Smashboard template but the place of you mentioned above does not support to show the ads and you have to make a custom work on your site

I would like to clarify that for heavy customization, you should hire a developer to carry out such work, customization support is out of JA support scope.

Below is some steps you can refer

• Create the new position from the detail article page here: templates/ja_smashboard/html/com_content/article/default.php file

• How to create new position here

• Assign ads module to new position.
