    Hello,

I find the template documentation for Magz II discussing quickstart assumes I know the answers to the questions I have. As a result, I don’t know what to do to even start. I don’t want to create a big mess I have to clean up by doing it wrong. I especially want to make sure that I get the most recent Joomla version of the template "3.whatever" and NOT "2.5".

I have downloaded the zip folder. I have made a copy of it. I have extracted the zip folder, and inside I find seven more zip folders, specifically the following:

    com_jaextmanager.v2.6.0
    ja_magz_ii.v1.0.1
    ja_magz_ii_3x
    ja_magz_ii_source.zip.v1.0.0
    plg_ajax_jacontenttype.v1.0.0
    plg_jadisqus_debate_echo.v2.6.3
    plg_system_jacontenttype.v1.0.4
    plg_system_t3.v2.5.5

Can anyone explain to me specifically, which of these folders I should upload to my root folder at my webhost? Do I extract them when they are uploaded to my webhost? What else do I have to do?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi there

If you want to install a quickstart version ( an exact replica of demo site ) you will need to download the quickstart file ( img.1) HERE
After you downloaded it , you should upload it on your hosted space , then extract it in your folder ( where you want website should be installed ) after you extracted it then you simply need to point your browser to the host folder so if you extracted it in your public_html then point your browser to yourwebsite url , this will launch the installation procedure and will install joomla plus the template and extensions already set as you can see from demo site.
You only need to create a database for it so when asked you can add database details and install sample data when requested by installation procedure

Take a look at the template documentation HERE

In conclusion quickstart file already contains all files you downloaded the first time as you described in your previous post.

    Hope it helps

    Regards
