October 25, 2013 at 12:11 pm #191703Hi all
Noticed the (video) slideshow in postion home-30 doesn’t appear when you go to a responsive size, can someone tell me how to enable it in the template for responsive mode. This feature (ability to play youtube video both full size and any mobile device) is needed for the site design.Cheers Shannon

October 28, 2013 at 10:48 am #510386Hi Shanon,
The slideshow on mobile is not working great as desktop view.
To show the slideshow in mobile, you can follow these steps:
1. Remove “, .spl-home-3” (also remove the comma) at around line 385 in templatesja_magzlessstyle-responsive.less (this will prevent the css hide entire block)
2. Add these small styles to templatesja_magzlessmod_jaslideshow.less<blockquote>@media (max-width: 767px) {
.maskDesc {
height: auto !important;.ja-slide-desc {
font-size: 14px;
}
}
}</blockquote>Hope it helps,
Regards

Hey Wallcrasher,
Thanks for your assistance, I have made those changes, cleared cache etc. I find it still only works in desktop mode.
please check the main page where I am using slideshowck to pull youtube video direct from YouTube .
http://monsoftwebdesign.net/magz/Now to show you, I ran it through the responsinator site.
http://responsinator.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmonsoftwebdesign.net%2Fmagz%2FWhere it still does not work in mobile view at any resolution less than ipad landscape size of 768px or better
or when viewing on my nexus 4 and android 7″ tablet’.or when I use JA Slideshow module to get a video from category as per demo again works in desktop
http://monsoftwebdesign.net/magz/index.php/new-posts but not in mobile view at any resolution less than ipad landscape size of 768px or better
http://responsinator.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmonsoftwebdesign.net%2Fmagz%2Findex.php%2Fnew-posts
or when viewing on my nexus 4 and android 7″ tablet’.Hope you can offer further suggestions please, as it is essential to have videos show on all mobile devices.
Blessings Shannon

October 29, 2013 at 2:42 am #510457Hi Shannon,
For Slideshow, we only support JA Slideshow.
After make change to LESS files, you should Compile LESS to CSS.
As I see on your site (http://monsoftwebdesign.net/magz/index.php/new-posts), css is compressed and not updated.Regards

Hey no worries re: Slideshowck, I understand it’s a 3rd party extension, I wasn’t aware afer making chamges to the less css files you had to recompile, all working now thanks for your help.
