August 11, 2011 at 10:22 pm #167312Hi there,
I’m looking to add a new module position above the main content, but to the right of the left position. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?
Thank you!
Here is my site http://www.rummageclothing.com
and here is an image to give you an idea.

August 11, 2011 at 10:30 pm #405799As a “easiest / shortest-distance-between-two-places” method . . . . could you, perhaps, assign a custom module to the position the slideshow occupies (on the FrontPage), but assign it to the particular virtuemart menu item/page you are wanting it for?
🙂

Hi Tcraw, thanks for the response. I thought of that too, but the problem is that I want it to be on the right side of the left menu, the slideshow would be above it.

August 30, 2011 at 5:18 am #409555I apologize for not getting back to you sooner . . . . I don’t know how this one got away from me. :-[
In any case, what are you wanting to put in your new module – a banner or large image/advrtisement? If so, I think this could simply be a matter of creating a custom_mod – with your custom image/html – and assigning it to the same position as the virtuemart featured products module (main body?) – but make sure it is positioned prior to the virtuemart module.
Make sense?
If not, perhaps you can drop me a PM with temporary access to your Administration Backend, and I’ll take a look at how you have things configured.
