Hi I have categories such as:

• News
  — Baseball
  — Teams
  —- Dogs
  —– Stats
  —– Schedule
  —- Cows
  —– Stats
  —– Schedule
  —- Animals
  —– Stats
  —– Schedule
  — Basketball
  — Teams
  —- Wolves
  —– Stats
  —– Schedule
  —- Rats
  —– Stats
  —– Schedule
  —- Raccoons
  —– Stats
  —– Schedule

I want to display news in the modules but exclude some sub categories for example I want to see news for the specific teams (in bold) displayed in the module, but I DO NOT want sub categories such as stats, schedule to show in the module.
