what do i need to do to make this happen… should i just upgrade to joomla 1.5.4 or should i upgrade to 1.5.6?

and how would i go about doing this… i initially used the quickstart…
please help!!!

Yes you should!

It doesn’t matter, the same instructions applies for any situations.

To be honest, I backup weekly 🙂
You should back-up at least before each upgrade.
