I’m just learning Joomla, put up JA Teline on a brand new neighborhood site.
Any comments or guidance would be greatly appreciated. I used to be technical years ago, but not really that much into it anymore. I know very little HTML and very very little CSS, but i’m not dumb so I can learn a little.
I’d like to resist any huge modifications as i’m concerned about upgrading it as new versions come out, also making the site brittle with unintended consequences. This isn’t something i’ll be babysitting, hopefully once I get the techie stuff up I can figure out how to get my *very* non-techie authors to self-publish.

1# Either create a space between the frontpage columns or make them a single column
2# You have a javascript error that you probably need to fix 🙂
3# Who’s Online is not working

Sorry, i’m rather new to Joomla in general. What do you mean by that? The “Important Oakland #s” and “Welcome to RRR.org” columns?

Yeah, no idea how the hell that happened or how to fix. I’m going to have to beg one of my techie friends to look into that.

When you say it’s not working, do you mean it’s not actually showing the names of who is online? I disabled that bit for the short-term.
