September 13, 2013 at 4:39 am #190565Hello,
I hope you can help me set my nested category layout.
The first all categories looks fine:
http://going-natural.com/jfixel/index.php/america-s-next-natural-model
The laout of the first category when you click the image left is also fine:
http://going-natural.com/jfixel/index.php/america-s-next-natural-model/season-4But when you click one of the articles the background is black. How/where can I change it to white?
Back to the first menu item again: http://going-natural.com/jfixel/index.php/america-s-next-natural-model
When you click on the image right the layout is also totally different. I know I have to create a menu item and assign a template layout but where is this standard layout set?I also want the category test of the last link to show.
I hope you understand my questions. Thank you.

September 17, 2013 at 4:08 am #506015Hi simplesite,
There are two concerns mentioned in your thread that i’d like to answer below:
<blockquote>But when you click one of the articles the background is black. How/where can I change it to white?</blockquote>
I have checked your website, the background is still white when I open an article in america-s-next-natural-model/season-4 menu item. See this http://going-natural.com/jfixel/index.php/categories/america-s-next-natural-model/season-4/231-the-kynx-challenge/2130-kala-fabulously-unique-for-kynx>> For the background color of this Joomla default blog layout: http://going-natural.com/jfixel/index.php/categories/america-s-next-natural-model/season-4/231-the-kynx-challenge
You can try to create a custom.css file in templates/ja_fixel/css/ path and put below codes into:
.blog {
background: white;
}<blockquote>When you click on the image right the layout is also totally different. I know I have to create a menu item and assign a template layout but where is this standard layout set?</blockquote>
Actually, they are the ads banners modules (not image items) that you are linking them to the JoomShopping all categories menu item so that the layout is different when opening that images.

September 17, 2013 at 4:29 am #506019I made some changes since posting this question so the links don’t work but I don’t really have an answer. It is basically this question: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/flaw-or-setting-in-menublog-layout/
