Deja vu
My site was hacked and I couldn’t cure it. solution was to start again, new database everything. Running telineV1 and Joomla 2.5
I deleted all sports stories and added my own new one. New story does not show up on front page. If I click the category header on front page – Football – I see my new story but since it is now the only football story and is featured why can’t I see it. I cleared the cache
http://www.g84.org I have requested google to review again as not only have I replaced the website, it is on a new server as well) my website since they put a block on itJim

March 28, 2012 at 10:17 am #446095nobody got an opinion, a view, a solution, advice, support, help in any way. I would really like to get this website back online
please help me
March 28, 2012 at 12:42 pm #446101I suppose if something came out of this it was that I was forced to fend for myself, I realised that, although a Joomla button told me I was up to date version wise – I wasn’t – but I am now. I also found a clear cache button under system info that is helping so it is onwards and upwards.
March 30, 2012 at 10:57 am #446444I thought I had this licked Content is not updating. I clear cache under site/maintenance/ Clear cache and purge expired cache. I also click JAT3 cache but it still doesn’t update content, which I have set by date.
I also added 2 categories to the news on the front page (under G84 News) they do not show up. I’m stumped….oh for the days you could buy an template and it worked out of the box and you didn’t have to spend days trying to get it to work – course it could just be an age thing.
Anyone got any pointers??Solved – content updating now( changed show content desc by date)

April 11, 2012 at 7:29 pm #448160lucky you madmin still cannot get new categories to ahow
April 11, 2012 at 7:42 pm #448161I’ve noticed several modules need some type of tick or change to get the page to refresh. Very Frustrating. I spent two days trying to get trashed and deleted articles to stop appearing on my site. My guess is your category issue is one of the same. You just gotta find the right one.
Wish I could be more help…

Do you have any server side cache in place? I have seen this quite a few times where a server is caching your pages.
If you would like some assistance checking everything please create a support ticket with a super admin account and ftp access and we will be happy to investigate for you.
