I no that this has been discussed already but I can not get this fixed. Please help! This is all over the page at http://www.grillinggourmet.com

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /var/www/vhosts/grillinggourmet.com/httpdocs/modules/mod_janews/helper.php on line 100

    Any ideas?
    Thanks…

    yes, it’s permission

You need change permissions to 777( if now 755) for this folder: images/resized
in your case, more precise :
    /var/www/vhosts/grillinggourmet.com/httpdocs/images/resized

There is no resized file or folder, or at least that I can find. I tried looking for that earlier.
Any other clue where it could be?

1.then create folder resized in images folder (/var/www/vhosts/grillinggourmet.com/httpdocs/images/)
and chmod this folder to 755( if don’t work then try change chmod of this folder to 777)

    2. Or just chmod folder images to 777 and then it’s possible that ja_news will create folder

That did it, but I had to chmod it 777.
    Thanks for all your help.

I had to creat a folder resized to get that to work, I should have explained that.
    Thanks again.

    Hi, I’ve the same problem.
I tried tochmod 777 but my safe mode is ON so

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 10058 is not allowed to access /var/www/vhosts/mysite/httpdocs/mynick/images/resized owned by uid 33 in /var/www/vhosts/mysite/httpdocs/mynick/modules/mod_janews/helper.php on line 108

I just used last 1.5.8 quickstart.

    Any idea?
