The verification link is looking for https://www.mydomain.com

shouldn’t it be

http://www.mydomain.com

I can’t verify any domains

next attempt i discovered it has a file name convention issue,

the file I downloaded to my local drive and then ftp’d to the root of the server is .htm, the program is looking for .txt

that was it, changed the file extension to .txt for the file on the server and the sites are now verifying

I have tried to download and it is .txt file. Please verify again.

i used opera browser. i went back and used IE7

opera defaulted to saving it as a htm file

IE7 was looking for https
