How do I create a new field for a phone number in JA Quick Contact?

I tried this posts files, but they didn’t work because they are for a different template.

Also is there a way of creating template variation of a module so that you don’t overwrite the files?

Well I went for a different option and renamed subject to phone, not ideal but does the job. Might have to look into a different plugin that creates forms.
