May 13, 2012 at 6:10 am #452829hi there. I am new too and I have a installation problem. I have installed T3 Framework template and the 3 plug-ins on my Joomla site, enabled them, and still this message shows on my frontend: The plugin JAT3 framework must be installed and enabled
I have a problem with plg_system_jat3.v2.5.1 file. First my computer was freezing when uploading the file in Extension Manager, so I used FTP. Finally succeded but in Plug-In Manager Jat3 it says :Plugins XML data not available
Now, I have checked the XML file uploaded; Here it is:
<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”utf-8″?>
<extension
version=”2.5″
type=”plugin”
group=”system”
method=”upgrade”>

May 13, 2012 at 9:47 am #452845Andrea, following your posts I get the impression you have an existing joomla site and you’ve tried to turn into a T3 enabled site?
you are a bit vague with what you’re attempting to accomplish etc. T3 framework in my experience can only be ued in a JA t3 template that’s made for it not a bog std joomla 2.5 site?I’d suggest you download and install the JA PurityII free quickstart installation and use that . NO existing joomla site needed as the quickstart has late version of Joomla 2.xx in it and demo information to dl the site and the JAT3 plugin etc.
There are many tutorials here on how to install the quickstart installations
Hope that can assist you today
