Are you going to offer an updated version of JA Brisk for T3V3 version 1.1.0? I tried updating the T3V3 framework to 1.1.0 RC1 and RC2 but both effort ended up with Brisk not working at all. In fact updating broke the entire front-end website. If so, could you already elaborate a bit on how to update? The normal update routine (1.0.0 to 1.0.1 and 1.0.1 to 1.0.2) doesn’t seem to work. I can’t even figure out what exactly is wrong with JA Brisk and 1.1.0 but it’s not working as it is right now.

Pease see the response from Arvind and myself in the following thread – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-enable-megamenu-default-menu-useless/

Hopefully that will answer your question.

I’m not quite sure whether or not I may conclude that Brisk will be updated to 1.1.0. I’m guessing yes but can you confirm this? And if so, is there an ETA?

JA Mero, JA onePage and JA Brisk will be updated for latest T3v3 version in the coming weeks and the work will resume once JA staff is back from Annual holidays (7th feb to 14th feb). </blockquote>

So yes, it is in the list for an update. As for an ETA.

The work is quite extensive and the dev team will not know exactly what problems they may run into until they hit them. Once the dev team have finished the QA team then extensively test the new release so users are assured that they get the best they can. Arvind has promised that these updates will take a high priority and I am certain that JA will not let you all down. The new JA mega menu for T3V3 will be worth the wait as you can see from the blank template above.</blockquote>

JA will do their upmost best to get it released as soon as they can but only when it is fully tested. I am looking forward to see the results as the new Mega Menu system is simply stunning.

Thank you for the quick response. Last question (I hope ;)): is it wise to start developing a new website based on the current version of Brisk and T3v3 framework? The thing that I really want to get my hands on is the mega menu (which indeed looks stunning). Would you advise to wait for the new version or would upgrading Brisk + framework be safe and I can start on the new website now?

Personally, I would wait. As the devs are on their annual holiday this week I cannot say for sure what the impact would be. Hopefully it will be a smooth transition but I cannot be 100% sure. Maybe if you can wait ask the question next week.

Having said that the worst that could happen here is the need to re-buld the menus which given the way the new mega menu works I doubt would take more than a couple of hours for even the most complex menu.
