i am logged on the forum system as a JATC Standard Membership since december 2010, do you mean that as a JATC standard member i have not the right neither to view the source code neither to see the difference between these two versions module JA Slideshow II module for Joomla 15 (2.1.1<–>2.2.0) unless I purchase subscription for the Joomla Extension Club Membership (JAEC)??
is this what you mean.

Which JATC account, you can only upgrade, and view source code of extension in JATC club.
Because, if you can view source code of extension in other clubs, It means you can download those extensions.

my JATC account authorize me to download the following module : JA Slideshow II module for Joomla 15 (390.5 KB)
since i can download it, i am able to view it and it should be possible to compare the Between version 2.1.1 and version 2.2.0and and to be aware of the changelog!!

Thats a permission issue with the Update – Version Comparison. In the backend all the extensions are classified as part of JAEC, but distributed with JATC. It works well in the forums but in the version control there is the clash of the JATC / JAEC permission.
We would need to adapt the forum permissions exactly to the version comparison system. This may take time to solve.
For now since, you can see the file names which differ between the versions (your last screenshot), you can manually compare them in your localhost by using free utility WinMerge. You will need both the versions to compare on your computer.
It is going to consume more time, but its the only way right now.
