April 30, 2013 at 11:30 pm #187193Hello,
I see that you guys made a Joomla version of HawkStore, which is very useful for the developers who want to merge joomla and magento together.
My question is: are there any plans in the near future to make a Joomla template corespondent to JM Flannel? Thanks,

May 5, 2013 at 3:46 pm #491934Just curious if this is going to ever have a better answer. What I would expect in the sense of an acceptable answer:
– hell no! we will never make such a template
– yes, we’re working on it and the develop team says that a template like that will be released in “x” amount of time. Thanks,

George</blockquote>Hi George,
Few years back we had negative feedback from the members that we are reusing the same concept for magento and Joomla templates and we are lacking designs. So, we prefer to avoid replicating the same concept between the clubs unless the concept is really good or is requested by members. JM Hawkstore was a good one and we had requests for shopping cart template for Joomla 2.5, thats why JA Hawkstore was worked upon.
Yours is the first request for JM Flannel concept for Joomla! and if there are more members requesting for the same, we would have no problem working on it.
Let me put on a poll in the forum to see what members would prefer.
Regards
Arvind

Couldn’t find the poll in the forum, but I would love to see “flannel” adapted for Joomla with VM integration. I think that would make one kickass template!

May 10, 2013 at 10:21 pm #492471I can’t understand why some users would not like to see Joomla and Magento using the same concept. These are 2 different platforms used for different things. I liked how in the past Joomlart was doing a great Joomla template and a corespondent Magento template. This makes easier for members who try to fuse Magento and Joomla together. I believe that whoever uses Magento won’t mind seeing a good looking Joomla template looking like their favorite store theme.
