Dear Group,
I see the locked thread at the top of this forum, and realize this nicely sums up my problem. The JA Edenite template has no “block” for where the logo is placed. As a matter of fact the “login” block could possibly be adapted for this purpose, but I feel like I need a new position for the insertion of logo content.

How do I create a new position for this template?

Hi Jean,

The header block of this template contains Logo and Login block. If you want to add a module position in the header, this tips may help you: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/how-to-create-a-new-module-position-6/
