    Hello All,

I SCREWED things up today! I was trying to follow nguoiabcd’s advice from this post http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/link-to-categoryblog-doesnt-work/

But when I removed the old main menu and made a new one my site crashed. I was able to get the site somewhat working again but now I don’t have a main menu.

Can you help me this errors?

    Thanks,
    Todd

OK… I fixed the main menu problem, but now I have the same problem I had in post – http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/link-to-categoryblog-doesnt-work/

So, I guess I want to know is how can I create a new main menu with a name other than “mainmenu” and then display it where the old main menu goes?

    Thanks,
    Todd

    Hi
If you want to create new menu , you can go to Menu-> Menu Managere, you can create or copy main menu from there

I know how to do that, but how do you display it in the “built in” main menu location?

    nguoiabcd,

I copied the mainmenu and created a new menu called main_menu.

How do I replace mainmenu with main_menu?

the original mainmenu doesn’t have a module to turn off and I don’t know which position to to set for the new main_menu module because the “A” position is a built in and not on the module position list.

    Please help!
    Thanks,
    Todd
