Two things:
1. When I try to publish a new post it will not publish in the front page section, only in the category. However, when I used the sample content posts as templates, the articles would post to the frontpage. I think I am doing something basic wrong but cannot figure it out.

2. The scrolling mechanism on the front page is not scrolling. When I could publish something to the front page using the sample content formats, it would show “1/4” articles but would not play through them either automatically or manually.

Is all of this connected?

If you want your last post publish on front page, you must choose show on frontpage for that content

Yes, I’ve done that. And there is no immediate posting. I have noticed that they end up posing later in some delayed response. When I would publish, or unpublish and of the sample content it would react right away. When I create new posts there is a huge delay on Frontpage. Yes all boxes are checked, yes they show up on the Frontpage manager, etc.

Still not scrolling automatically.

It’s not reliable for what I need it to do.
