On Ja Teline II I created another section with a category .

From the menu magazine I public the section, but it doesn’t appear in the front page, after to have inserted in the module Ja News the ID of section with the color.
In the top menu appears the name of the new section but there is not the box in home page like for the others section.

Maybe there is another operation, that I missed? Someone can tell me about?

If you created a brand new section, you need to go to the Module Manager and select the moduls (e.g. Videos – Drive your way ) you want to publish. Under the Menu Assignment choose the first or the third option, make sure that your module is published in Inchiesta section.

Normally, your new section should appear in the Ja-News, check that you entered the correct section ID.

The section is Inchiesta and the category, as you can see is sanità.
I just operate exactly as I made the other sections.

just by looking at it like that – to me it looks like that the wrong category/section id has been entered into the ja_news module (or a character seperator may be missing from that field – for example a comma , )

Without actually looking at it I’ll have to assume that the component has been confirgured correctly and there’s something technically wrong with the component

or

I could take a look at it and be able to pinpoint the problem and fix it for you instantly.

I’d rather take the 2nd option as it will save you time by posting messages which may lead you to your problem eventually but this way I or even moderators of the forum (or support) could look at your problem to fix it.

If you’re happy with me taking a look at the backend, you’re more than welcome to pm me a temporary login which you can setup in the user manager.

Once i’ve fixed the issue – I will post here AND pm you straight away. Again, it’s all down to trust.

I am wondering… How did you make the news items TO SLIDE.

You are using Telline 2 but I have only seen that Slinding items on Telline.

I like the look of it. Could you please explain how you did it?

Hi ambrosin

I’ve fixed your problem!!

It’s a problem with your articles. I don’t know whether it’s the length of the titles as suggested or the alias as they’re extremely long too. I’d recommend keeping the titles short.

I’ve just added a test article and it works fine. However, you might want to change your color for the Inchiesta heading in ja_news.
