Using the janews_pro in linear theme. When i add new stories, they don’t appear in the module immediately.

I’ve checked the usual things. The proper categories are selected in the module. I’ve cleared the cache on the site and in my browser. Tuned off caching in the module, turned off caching at the site and put the template in development mode. Still, it only shows stories that are 4 or 5 days old. Interestingly, the new stories appear fine in the janews_fp module.

Ideas??

Ok, UPDATE….This may be a bug. I had the module in “Latest Modified” order. But if a story was created but NEVER modified (ie edited twice) then it never showed up. Logically, I think, if you select “Latest Modified” it should show ALL the articles (not ONLY the articles that have been created AND modified) sorted by the last time they were edited. If a story has not been “modified” the module should use the creation date as the last time it was “modified.” Am I wrong?

I don’t think It is a bug,last modified and created are two different field,if you want to order via the created date you should select Oldest first or Most recent first
