I installed JA Teline IV, which looks great, a very impressive demo which will hopefully excite customers
    😎

Then I installed JA Events (ja_events.v1.1.0.zip), obviously without the sample data as this would overwrite the JA Teline IV content. Unfortunately the JA Events now looks rather lame, with a lot of blank space. In the “old days” (2009) you could flick back and forward between the old JA Purity, Beez, Milkyway and most other downloaded templates and generate considerable “ooohs” and “aaaahs” from the audience.

So to demo the new, complex, T3 templates effectively it looks like I need to:
1 – Create a separate subdomain and installation for each template
    OR
2 – Create sample data / module placements that flow effectively across the different templates,

Before I try and reinvent the wheel… has anybody already done this?

There can be various adjustments to be made for homepage to start with as both templates carry different module positions along with their locations. Also, Both the templates are structured and customized quite differently in terms of divs structuring.

Probably, You would get other pages to be right if you make template switchover 🙂

After thinking about it, there are several disadvantages to switching templates during a demo anyway, unless you are trying to demonstrate the separation of form and content,,, an almost impossible concept for the uninitiated!

So I will go with installing different templates to different subdomains.
