I have a dev site and everything I place in Position-7 drops below the main body rather than on the right. I cannot figure it out.

The site is:

Any help would be appreciated

My understanding is that it is the right rail by default in a normal layout and moves below the content in <720px. But on my dev site, it is displaying below the body no matter what the browser width. I am sure I changed a width somewhere mucking with it but cannot seem to fix it.

Hi mackdoyle,

Which exact module in position 7 are you mentioning since there are so many modules in this position by default? and did you install any 3rd party extensions, pls try to disable them to ensure that the error comes from our template. Other users install 3rd party exts and they contains mess html content like missing some html opening and closing tag then it breaks site’s layout.

Pls give it a go and let me know what’s going on.

I just have some images using using the default custom html module. And I am not setting the image sizes with pixels. I tried removing all but one. And the only thing I am displaying in the content block are featured articles

Hi mackdoyle,

Pls try to unpublish one by one articles displaying, this will help you to find out which one caused this problem, then check again html content, it maybe messed up.

OK, Not sure what was off but I corrected the issue by replacing the default.xml layout and the page/default.php. So something must have been incorrectly changed in one of those files

Did you try to compare those 2 ‘default.xml’ files?
