i installed joomla and kruger tonight. first question:

i’m just trying to change the images in the /ja_kruger/images/defaul folder

specifically, sh01.jpg, sh02.jpg sh03.jpg and sh04.jpg

i try to upload new ones. nope. my server won’t let me. i try to delete them…no dice

do i need to manage these images through the admin interface? i’ve tried changing permissions but nothing works.

Hi panzalone,

It’s a quite annoying Joomla problem. Joomla create the file with the Apache Webserver account so sometimes you cannot delete your files with your FTP account.

In this case I suggest you to set up a local server, made your changes and then upload the site with your FTP account.
