Hi, need a little help here, this is my site, http://www.oscillumstudio.com/, I install the JA Iolite template, but all the info is not the same that in this demo of the template http://www.joomlart.com/templates_demo.php?template=ja_iolite

I am using the last version of joomla, I am really new in this, but I belived that just intalling the template the demo info will come with it,,,, now I see I was wrong, so If anywant could help me tellingme where is this demo sample info, and how I install it I will be very very happy 😀

I sumit a help tiket but I havent have respond….

What I was trying to install was this complete version

I thing I install all the modules, but my web just dont look anything like the demo :s thanks

did you use the quickstart package to make your install? that way, you don’t have to do anything else, everything comes already installed for you

hmmm I was thinking that I did that.. maybe I install something else, sorry do you think you can provide me wiht the link of the quickstart package, maybe my problem is that Im installing something else 🙂 thanks a lot for your reply

Unzip the downloaded ja_lolite_for_joomla_1.5.v1.0.zip. You will get three folder namely Extensions, Quickstart, Template.

To install quickstart :

1. open the Quickstart folder >> qs_j159_ja_lolite.zip (this file is as good as joomla 1.5.9 installation package).
2. Upload the folder to your server, unzip it, the run the installer from by pointing your broswer to unzipped folder.
3. Follow the step by step online installation guide.
4. Dont forget to click on “Install Sample Data” on the second last page>> where you would be asked to put your email and password, below there would be a button asking “install sample data” hit it once. That will give you Ja lolite as it is in Demo.

the highest download and unzip and you’ll see a package called quickstart.
you should unzip the package and upload all files to your joomla-root.
when you visit your root by webbrowser afterwards, you can install, just like you would with a standard joomla install.
