I’ve just installed Ja Cloris Theme v1.0.1 on Joomla 1.5.22

I went to template manager > Ja cloris > Profiles tab

I’d like to choose the blue profile.
and, obviously, I don’t want the dark orange default profile.

First attempt:
I scroll the screen till i see “Theme settings” and i select the “Blue” checkbox
Refreshing frontend page: nothing happens. I’m looking to my brand new dark orange template

Second attempt:
I went to template manager > Ja cloris > Profiles tab
i select the ‘blue’ tab
I fill every checkbox in this page
I scroll the screen till the end of the page.”Theme setting” is, again, set as “Blue”
Refreshing frontend page: nothing happens. again.:((

What should I do, step by step, to choose the blue profile?

i tried to change the value ALL PAGE to Blue
nothing happens

I think this could be a bug in Ja cloris 1.0.1

Your First Attempt should be correct.

But if you have the ‘cpanel’ showing up top, and orange is selected there instead of ‘default’ in your screen, it will continue to load the orange theme.

Set it to default in the cpanel on the front end and see if it refreshes to blue.

To disable the cpanel completely, go to the backend and set all the ‘User Tool Settings’ to disable and save.

first of all thanks for your attention…
I just tried to change values in cpanel but the problem has not solved. No visible effects.
I try to give you additional info that maybe could be useful:

this is the situation:
fresh joomla installation – joomla 1.5.22 (on xamp – PHP 5.2.6 )
JA CLORIS 1.0.1 (installed using extensions > Install/Unisntsall)
JA T3 Framework v1.2.3 (installed and active)
there ‘re no other components/plugins installed

Please try clearing the cookies set by your install.

For setting the profile in the back end go to the Global tab, not the profiles tab and scroll down to “Profile Override Settings”. You will see a list of profiles and what pages are set to what. One will be “All Pages” and one will have just a “1” next to it. In the right boxes for both set them to “Blue”.

i am struggling with this: I am assuming clicking on ‘JAT3 Clean Cache’ clears the cookies. It doesn’t work.
I don’t get the option “Profile Override Settings’ but, i do see the options you mention under the ‘Page Assignments’ tab. ‘All Page’ is set to ‘Blue’ but there is another row ‘435’ and that is set to default. When I change that blue, the home page changes to the default Joomla home page and not the JA Cloris home page. Please help.

All other pages under the menu do show in Blue, it is just the home page.
