Using 1.5 started with the Quickstart although I didnt install any of the sample data.

As you can see from the attached screen shot theres a missing picture box showing up which I cant get turned off.

Also when I make a new article and put it in the newsflash category it doesnt show up. At least it hasnt in the last 15 minutes. I can turn the other articles in the newflash category on and off and they work but cant add a new one…

Also the text is shoved way down. where can I adjust that?

Can you right click on the “x” to find out what image is missing?

I use the JAnewsflash module for the top position. In the parameters for it under “template” setting is some html code to display how your news module looks.

From memery there is code to display an image and I removed it. my code looks like this:

That fixed it.

Here is the orignal code before I replaced it with yours and fixed the problem.
